We will celebrate the Season and enjoy traditional Garden Club hospitality, on Dec.14 at United Methodist Church. We will meet a little early to enjoy a pot luck supper. So try to come around 6 p.m. Thank you to Pat Whiting, Shelly Redmond and Nancy Ollinger-Thiess for hosting our December meeting. See Pat’s notes in this newsletter for details.
We will spend a little time as possible to attention to routine business:

* Receive and approve the Treasurer's Year-End Report
* Old Business: Club Officers for 2010

All regular Garden Club meetings are held at 7 pm in Mercer
at Mercer Methodist Church on Butler Street.
In June, July and August meetings are held at garden tour locations, check back for directions to summer locations.

Volunteer to be a meeting Hostess:
What does a Hostess or Hospitality Volunteer do?
Secure the meeting place. (Call to reserve the meeting room)
Do whatever is needed to get ready for the meeting. Arrive early and greet members and guests, pass out name tags or arrange tables and chairs.
Welcome the speaker ask if they need help.
Be involved in planning the meeting, program or tour.
Help with refreshments if we have them.
Help organize a clean up.
